The majority of our stops in Alaska and Canada have been in small towns. We’ve had the opportunity to dine at many RV parks and truck stops. The portions have ranged from huge to tiny. The region is much pricier than the lower 48 states, but if the food is hot and you’ve been biking for five hours it is hard to heat up another dehydrated meal.

I have noticed that the meat in Canada is overall more fatty than in the states. Breakfast bacon is not cooked as crisply. I am really enjoying the roasted flavor of Canadian peanut butter. I tend to not like creamy peanut butter because it is too sweet. The creamy blend in Canada possesses a roasted flavor with out being overly sweet.
